FANTASTIC! I was speechless after I got my resume from Michael Miller. It was perfect and I knew I would totally get interviews using it. TADA! After they post my resume on job websites, I had calls and emails flowing in. THANKS A LOT!
I bought this service as a gift for my husband. His resume is a total mess and I think hiring a professional will help him. I have talked to a resume consultant; and then was assigned to a very professional writer who was prompt, accommodating and totally understood what we need. Hiring this company really was the best decision I made! We were both so satisfied with the overall services and the resume! I will definitely recommend ResumeExtremes! I even requested my appreciation message to their website.
This is just the perfect resume I need. I could not have done it without ResumeExtremes! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
Dear Jessica, I would like you to know that I'am very impressed with the services you provide. Not only to the Editor John Blake but also to my Project Manager Tiffany Jackson. You are indeed the best in your industry. all the best.
To the writing Team, Good Job guys! i never thought I was this impressive. Thanks for helping me. More success.
Resume Extremes Support and Editors, i would just like to say that you guys make one hell of a resume and the best support i've ever had. Im surely going to recommend your service. Thank you!
I have been in this job for 11 years and felt I need a new career. My resume is too outdated and so plain. My friend told me about this company and showed me her resume. At first, I am reluctant, but when I got the resume from my Editor, all I said was WOW! This is the best resume I ever had and I can’t wait to use it. Well, here I am, got a new job using the resume. Recommended!!
I would like to commend ResumeExtremes for doing a good job in my resume. I have checked their samples and called to give it a shot. There is no doubt about it. It is indeed the best resume service for people who need the BEST RESUME. I recommend this company to all of you. In fact, I have referred almost five of my friends and relatives. They are all pleased with the overall service.
I wrote my resume and cover letter, waited a month and not a single call. Then I hired ResumeExtremes. Two days after I received my final resume and submitted to prospective employers, I got five calls for interviews. I could not believe it. That is one amazing math!
YOU ARE THE BEST! I have previously hired two resume writing companies, and they failed to meet my expectations. I gave up and decided to write on my own. No good results, employers are pointing out that I should rewrite my resume – hard to admit I could not do it at all. Not until I got an advice from my brother, he used a resume company and was satisfied. That is ResumeExtremes and they ROCK!
I have learned one of the greatest lessons I should have known before encountering numerous failures: If you need a job badly, you should hire a professional resume writer. Writing my own makes me so busy, but I'm going in circles, getting nowhere, it came to a point when I always delay, whine, complain & even run out of patience because I don't have any idea what to do or which is better to include. In short, I'm wasting my time writing my resume; it's taking longer for me to find a job. I just noticed several weeks already passed. During my "trying to write my own resume" quest, I always stumble on websites offering resume services. I thought - no, I could write it myself. In the end, I guess I have no choice. So I tried this company, it fits my budget and their samples are nice and decent. So I called, they're so friendly and nice - not to mention accommodating and professional. I tried it out and got my initial draft, as what they call it because they offer unlimited revisions until I was satisfied. Seriously? Good thing was- I'm so happy with the resume they gave me, that I didn’t even need a revision. I couldn’t believe this really works - Better than I imagined. Thank you so much for a great job, guys! I highly recommend this company. You would not regret it =) I hope you guys will read my post. Keep up the good work!
Resume writing tips advise that you really should have ample statements to custom produce a resume that suits every single job description where you seek employment. You should craft tailored resumes due to the fact a substandard document will regularly be ruled out. Incorporate the pointers as a lead for what you ought to write. Should you copy from several books and websites you end up with alternative crafting types and your content will not have readability corporations think that your composing is not authentic.
You desire to write specific resumes for targeted job openings and draft scannable resumes for posting on-line. Your resume writing needs advantageous accomplishment statements that demonstrate how you have employed your knowledge and how that enabled your earlier employers. Your resume writing sentences should be short and devoted. While you certainly need to utilize web resources and books for examples, do not only imitate articles. Duplicating from many different sites can result in tons of different copywriting variations and make reading through your writing a choppy experience.
Choose the most logical content to utilize on each resume determined by what the company desires. You really should choose the most crucial results claims for your resume writing. Draft convincing accomplishment statements with power words that indicate how you have exhibited your skills to be advantageous to a previous employer. Tailored resumes have a significantly better probability of appearing to match the corporation’s opening than a lazily crafted resume. Search for samples on the net but do not just copy them. Duplicating from different websites can result in numerous writing types and copy that does not read effectively. Winning resume writing has become a specialist skill and until you are assured or have the time to get knowledgeable you might desire to employ a writer.
Utilize an interesting resume template with color to get awareness and as in marketing this is about getting consideration. Ensure your resume writing structure will work as Word or Adobe pdf document. Do not use odd or very difficult to read fonts or you will be ditched by human resource personnel considering that they have no time to unravel data. Ensure your margins conform with your writing appropriately. Make sure all links are working and attachments are there and if you are including any links be sure to test them.
Human resources will verify who you are over the internet to see what form of individual you are. Numerous job searchers add backlinks to their social networking profiles in their resume writing. Set up formal profiles and use a professional name or occupation title to make the information separate if needed. Ascertain all your profiles are formal. Make certain to mention what preceding employer businsses are in 1 sentence in your resume writing unless they are famous. If you are performing in a highly specialized, niche industry, or looking only locally with your work history also local, the enterprises may perhaps know each other by name and then again possibly not. Adding a link to the company’s website can be worthwhile also. Describing your previous employers is one means of getting closer to an interview.

It can happen at any age. You wake up one day to find that the career you were planning to be in forever or the career that you've just started investing your life into suddenly doesn't present the opportunities it used to. Now you are faced with the challenge of getting out that old resume and knocking the dust off of it for today's job market.
Resume writing for career change can be stressful, but it doesn't have to be. There are some specific resume formats that will suit your past work history well and present your skills and experience in a very attractive manner.
The resume format that we recommend to gain the biggest value for all of the hard work and experience you've gained over your career is the combination resume format. Why? Simply because it offers you the best visibility for your skills and experience and does not place the focus directly on your employment history.
Here are some basic guidelines to help those who are resume writing for a career change.
· Summary of Qualifications - Instead of a resume objective, consider using a three-line summary of the skills and experience you have acquired in your career to give your prospective employers a good idea of who you are. These summary statements are extremely effective in creating a strong first impression. An example might be: Over 20 years of sales, marketing and management experience. Skilled in making sales presentations, client negotiations and market analysis. Proficient in several computer software programs including MS Office.
· Skill Grouping - Your employment experience, no matter how many companies or careers you have already worked in, is extremely valuable to a prospective employer. One of the best ways to showcase all of that experience and the skills you have acquired is to select a few of the top skills and create your resume around those skill groups. When using the combination resume format, you can select three or more major skill groups and include your experience from multiple jobs under each group. For example if you select management as one of your skill groups then you can list your top bullet points from all of your positions beneath that skill group to showcase a career's worth of managing skills.
· Resume Power Sentences - This is one of the biggest opportunities that many miss when writing a resume. When you create your bullet points about your skills under your skill groups, each sentence should jump off the page and resonate with the reader. A simple way to ensure that your skills will be showcased is to use strong resume power sentences. Select an action word that helps describe your skill such as "facilitated" or "organized" and then list your skill as well as any results that occurred. An example might be: Facilitated several training classes for new employees resulting in an increase in productivity.
Changing careers always brings with it a certain amount of uncertainty as well as excitement about the future. Resume writing for career change shouldn't have to be a major challenge. If you present a solid summary of qualifications, attractive skill groups and action oriented resume power sentences, your resume will create a strong impression with those who read it!

When we talk about how to build a resume we use the term build for a good reason. The term build a resumeis synonymous with building a home or any other structure where you start with an idea, followed by a written design, then starting with one small piece, add others on and end up with a strong structure.
This is exactly the way you build a resume. You first have the concept from which to build your resume, put that on paper (or computer) as if it is an architectural design, and that start to build a resume one detail and factual piece at a time.
One career specialist described building a resume as comparable with writing a term paper. He emphasized that you should put as much time, energy, attention to its details and focus on the resume you build as on the term paper you write.
Building A Resume Heading
When you build a resume you start with a heading. This is where you note your name, your address, your phone number or numbers and your e-mail address.
If you're a college student anticipating graduation keep in mind as you build your resume that these potential employers may well view your resume after graduation. Make sure you include subsequent contact information as well. Indicating the dates of each contact and the reasons they differ. When you build a resume heading you should be centering it, and making it larger and bolder than the body of the resume itself.
If you have an e-mail address that is affiliated with your campus or any temporary provider such as your local cable company, you would probably do best, when you build your resume, to set up a free email account that can travel with you. Don't choose an inappropriate e-mail address as you build your resume. Jill Morgan would be better off with Jmorgan@Yahoo.com, then PrettyLass@yahoo.com.
You might also want to include your personal URL if you have one, but keep in mind, just as with the e-mail address, that you shouldn't direct any employer to an inappropriate Web site. If there's anything not professional on that site don't include it when you build your resume.
Building A Resume Objective
The next part you write as you build your resume is your objective. While you can insert something standard here as you build your resume template this is one part of your resume that should change almost with every job application. This is not the place to explain your dreams or your life's philosophy. Here is where you explain quite specifically what your immediate career goal is. Rather than saying you seek a professional position with advancement opportunities you should be stating that you seek a reporting position with a Chicago area publication, or a staff accounting position in or around Indianapolis.
The main ingredients to include as you build your resume are, of course, your work history and your education. Generally you include work experience first, starting with the most recent (hopefully the most relevant and most advanced) job back chronologically to the job you held first. Of course, if you've been working for 40 years and held 20 different jobs you'll not want to include all of them. When you build your resume it should suffice to include only the last ten years of work history.

With so many candidates in the applicant pool in the sluggish economy, employers have the pick of the litter. Therefore, you have to work extra hard to impress and prove that they need you. Frankly, they don’t care whether you are seeking a “growing company” or “opportunity for advancement”. What they are concerned with is their bottom line and whether you can enhance it. What you need to do is tailor your skills, experience, and education on your resume to make you precisely the candidate they are seeking. This is how you build employer-focused documents, by showing and proving the value you offer.
Profile Statement. Throw out the outdated “Objective” in your resume. It is job applicant-based, usually stating what kind of ideal work environment you seek and how you want to grow and attain more skills there. That is not employer-based. Instead, you need a brief paragraph summarizing your relevant skills, experience, and a significantachievement or two in the areas the position is centered around. It summarizes the value you offer the company.
Include awards, accomplishments, and special achievements in your resume. These shout to employers that your skills have been proven to be effective. The best predictor of future behavior is past behavior. If you have been notably successful in your past positions, employers assume that you will also be in the future. Significant accomplishments, especially a track record of them, make you a wanted candidate.
Make your cover letter employer-focused as well. Do not begin your cover letter with why you want to work for the company addressed. Begin with a powerful statement about why you are a dynamite employee with proven results, but be careful to avoid sounding egotistical. It’s okay to work in your reasons for applying there briefly, especially if it adds to your attractiveness, but make it a sentence or two later in the letter.
Ask questions during and at the conclusion of the interview. It’s all about them. The interview is about you, and yet mostly about them. Asking questions demonstrates genuine interest in the position rather than offering yourself as a job seeker looking for anything you can get. Refrain from excessive questioning though; allow them to direct the course of the interview and ask the questions they have for you. Weaving in positive information you know about the company from your research about them also demonstrates initiative on your part to research what you are getting into with that company.
Send a follow-up letter or thank-you note to each person involved in the interview. Show them that you appreciate the opportunity to have interviewed and continue to be interested in opportunities there. Briefly, re-state your value and thank them for their consideration. If you are not good with remembering names, ask for a business card from each person at the interview.
This is an employer's market, requiring that you do all you can to impress and stand out from other candidates. This requires conveying the positive attributes you offer in a manner that fits with your target company's purpose, product, and available position without making your communication on what your ideal position or company would be. Focus instead on them and what they seek and your efforts will get you better results.

It would be great if you could make your resume more convincing by pointing out your strength’s to your employer. The luck of your resume can be made up in as little as 7 to 15 seconds. Hundreds of resumes get rejecting for the smallest reasons – wrong spelling, layout errors, boring content’s and missing skills.
Your resume should concentrate on your accomplishments for a particular position. Promote your strengths and effectiveness and grab the reader’s attention with strong selling points on why your skills and background is perfect for the position you desire. Remember that your resumes objective is to get you to the door, not the job. What employers look for are candidates who know their capabilities and confident in what they do best.
1.) Create a more convincing resume by selling yourself to employers!
2.) The objective of your resume is to make an employer want to interview you. It's a great marketing tool that
endorses who you are and the worth you will bring to an organization.
3.) Your resume must be a results oriented, a resume that sum up your endeavors for a specific position. To be
effective, it must target a specific job and grab the reader's attention with strong selling points on why your skills
and background is right the position you are looking for. Its main task is to secure an interview, not a job.
4.) The luck of your resume is often decided in as little as 5 to 12 seconds. Up to 95% of the hundreds of resumes
employers receive for a single job opening don't survive the first cut. They get rejected or screened out to reduce
the number down to a manageable level. The smallest error - missing skills, careless spelling, disorganized
content, formatting errors - may be cause to disqualify you.
5.) Feasible employers are considering people who have strong ideas about themselves and what they do best.
You need to prove, with evidence, that you have provided value in the past that is constant with the value you will
provide your new employer in the future.
6.) Managers look for convincing evidence that candidates have the skills their post or upcoming position requires.
Employers are most interested in finding out what you can do for them. To guarantee your resume is given
the consideration it deserves, you must keep in mind the needs of the person who will be reading it.
